Privacy Policy
Effective: November 5, 2026
This policy explains what information Still Wild Labs (“we,” “us”) collects through stillwildlabs.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers this website only. If you hire us, the agreement for that project covers anything we handle as part of the work.
Information you give us
When you submit a request through our form, we collect:
- Your name and email address
- Your phone number and business name, if you choose to provide them
- The services you’re interested in and the message you write
If you email us directly, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.
Website checkup
When you use our free website checkup, you give us a website address and, if you choose, the kind of business it is. To run the checkup:
- Our server visits that site’s homepage and up to four public pages it links to, the same way a visitor’s browser would. It doesn’t log in or fill anything out.
- Your browser sends the address to Google PageSpeed Insights, which loads the page and returns a speed score and a phone-size screenshot. Because this request comes from your browser, Google receives your IP address and handles it under Google’s Privacy Policy. The screenshot stays in your browser; it isn’t sent to us.
- We email ourselves a copy of the results: the site address, the kind of business, the pages checked, the results, and a link that shows the report as you saw it. The copy doesn’t include your IP address or anything else about you. The report itself is stored only in that email and in the link, not in a database.
We don’t ask for your name or email to run a checkup, and we don’t use checkups to contact you or the business. We only reach out if you send us a request through our form.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of your visit. This is used to deliver the site, keep it secure and troubleshoot problems. When you run a checkup, our server logs also record the site address, the kind of business, its website builder (if we can tell) and the grade.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It doesn’t use cookies, doesn’t build a profile of you and doesn’t track you across other websites. We see totals, such as page views, referring sites, countries and device types, not individual visitors.
Our request form and website checkup use Cloudflare Turnstile to keep out spam. It checks signals from your browser and device, such as how the page was loaded and your IP address, to tell people from automated bots. This usually happens in the background; occasionally it may ask you to tick a box.
We don’t use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. The site saves one small setting in your browser’s session storage so the opening animation plays only once per visit. It isn’t sent to us and is cleared when you close the tab.
How we use your information
- To read and respond to your request
- To send you a confirmation that we received it
- To talk with you about a project you’ve asked us about
- To keep records of our business correspondence
- To run the website checkup, and to keep a copy of the results so we have context if you get in touch
- To protect the site and our inboxes from spam and abuse
We don’t sell or rent your information, and we don’t add you to a marketing list because you submitted a request.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers that run the site and our email, and only as needed for them to do that: Netlify, which hosts the website, runs the website checkup and processes form submissions; Namecheap, which hosts our email; Cloudflare, which provides our visitor statistics and the spam check on our form and checkup; and Google, which runs the speed test in the website checkup. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
How long we keep it
We keep request emails for as long as they’re useful for responding to you and for any work we do together, and as needed for ordinary business records. You can ask us to delete them at any time. Checkup copies are kept the same way, and you can ask us to delete one by telling us the site address.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email thelab@stillwildlabs.com and we’ll take care of it. You can also simply not use the form and contact us another way.
Security
The site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection and our email is sent over encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please don’t send passwords, payment details or other sensitive information through the form.
Children
This site is meant for businesses and adults. It isn’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.

Links to other websites are provided for convenience. We aren’t responsible for their content or privacy practices.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we’ll update this page and the effective date above.
